The Many Quirks of Cole...continued

New discoveries Cole has made:

Stuff goes in my mouth - no matter how big or how many times it makes me gag.
I love to read.

I enjoy holding my leg up while eating...the entire time.

I love growing. At four months, my six month clothes are just too small.
I ask you, "Why use your hands to do things your feet can do instead?"

I love to play the piano. See how serious I am?

Dear Danielle,

I know I'm not always the best at letting you know how I feel, but it'd be sad if I couldn't let you know on Valentine's Day. Life with you is an adventure that I look forward to everyday. The years just seem to get better and better. I'm amazed at how lucky I am to have such a wonderful partner in life. You're an amazing wife and mother, and don't you forget it! I love you.

So Talented

I am so lucky to have such great family so close, especially those amazing Barber women. From cousins who write and sew to those who design and create, I am always in awe of how talented these girls (and guys!) are. My cousin Jenny is an amazing photographer, and was nice enough to take pictures of our family in December. Here are just a few - thank you, Jenn - these are priceless!

Seriously?

Note to my "hairstylist:"

Do not show up for our appointment drunk. I don't care that your boyfriend dj's in Park City and you've been partying all night.

Seriously.

Do not shave off over two inches of hair after we discuss making it "a little bit shorter."

Seriously.

Do not style it into a mohawk - I am not seventeen years old and trying too hard.

I mean, seriously.

My Little Man

So, after a disasterous first session at Kiddie Kandids (never again!), we got a few cute pictures of Cole. Keep in mind that I told "the photographer" at the beginning that I don't like pictures that are too posed.

I don't think she listened.

But, we did get some very cute ones - I can't believe Cole is almost 4 months old. We just love having him around and seeing his cute smile!

Making Light of the New President?

Absolutely not. In fact, I am so excited about Obama's presidency, I fully plan on hiding out at work watching it streaming live on my computer. But, I was led to a website where you can make a poster like the "Yes We Did" posters that came out after Obama won. I made one of myself as you can see below, and also downloaded my other two favorites. If you would like to create your own, just go to obamiconme.pastemagazine.com. You can have many hours of fun!

Unfortunately...
