The Big Finale

Once again we had a wonderful Christmas at our house.  Cole absolutely loved his new punching bag (he can finally practice karate on someone other than mom and dad!).
Jack seemed more excited about the bubble wrap.
The boys were also adorable with their new "cats."
Merry Christmas, everyone, and here's to a wonderful New Year!

Christmas Eve

We had an amazing Christmas Eve at Pa and Nana's.  The boys were excited to get their new jammies,

And their new toys from Pa and Nana.
It was such a fun night - thank you, Mom & Dad!

Santa Hates Coming to Our House

Making sugar cookies for Santa is always a highlight of Christmas Eve.  This year, the boys were big enough to really help.  Early in the day, we rolled and cut out the shapes (shirtless, of course):
Later that night, we decorated.

Although Jack was MUCH more interested in eating the cookies, icing, and decorations...

Check out those cookies!  The decorations are pretty intense...although I'm sure Santa was able to make do.

Barber Christmas Party

What would Christmas be without the Barber Christmas party?  As a child, I lived for this party - and it wasn't truly Christmas until we had it.  It's so much fun to see all the little kids enjoy it as much as we did.

Check out that table full of blonde boys!
Hugs from Pa are the best...
And of course, the Barber party is not complete without a telling of the nativity.  The boys were excited to participate.  Who knew there were ninja shepherds?
In Jack's case, we were lucky just to get a picture with the head-dress on.
The beautiful music provided, as always, by my mom.
This year, the reading of the nativity went digital.
How adorable is "Baby Jesus?"  Seriously, who can resist those curls?
A group shot, with little Hallie leading the singing.
It's hard to sit still sometimes...
It was definitely a great night!

Thomsen Christmas Party

We had a wonderful time at the Thomsen Christmas Party - made even more fun by the great props Cindy brought so we could take some fun pictures.

Mitchell, Brock, and Cole

Even Grandma and Grandpa got in on the action!

The best!

Andrea, Mitchell, Haley, Cole and Jack

My boys

The best gift of the day was Cole's Justice League pjs.  He was literally shaking with excitement to get these.  Thanks, Grandma Thomsen!

Welcoming 2014

Nothing beats welcoming 2014 with some games, popcorn, and Pa & Nana!
