It's Getting There

Fall! It's almost time! Which means it's time to go to Cornbelly's for some fun. The big highlight was Cole trying out the zipline. He loved it!

We watched pig races, played on the ropes course, and had apple cider slushes and pumpkin chocolate chip donuts. We made our way through the corn maze and just generally had a great time in the warm fall sun.

"Mom! I'm like one of those girls on the fronts of cars!" Huh?

I sure do love this family of mine and always realize it even more when we spend time together like this.

Love/Hate Relationship

When you think about having kids, there's always this hope that your kids will have friends with siblings that match your other kids' ages. (That sentence was way too complicated.) Anyway, Cole's very best friend Asher has a little brother named Milo who is the same age as Jack. Jack and Milo try - oh they try - but it's definitely a love/hate relationship. Sometimes I find them downstairs playing next to each other. Other times Milo joins in with Cole and Asher to pick on Jack. Who knew that boys could be so dramatic?
 

Scout's Honor

Cole started Boy Scouts in the last few months, and has really loved going. From shooting off rockets, to learning to use pocket knives, it's been great for him. Plus, he's gotten to know even more kids in the neighborhood, and always goes to meetings with a smile on his face. We love seeing him try new things!

Best $15 ever spent. Cole and Cricket can't get enough.

 

 

Not My Favorite Superhero

Jack is currently obsessed with the movie "Captain Underpants." I'm very excited for this phase to pass.  Please let it pass soon.

Making Mama Proud
