Sister Cousins

We have a saying in the Barber family about our relationships with our cousins - Sister Cousins. I know it sounds all polygamy-ish, but it really just means we're so close, it's not like we're just cousins, we're like sisters. This is especially true when it comes to my cousin Cassie.

We played "Little Mermaid" at Lake Powell. At sleepovers, we pretended to be princesses escaping our evil fathers with our handsome princes - running through the house with sheets draped over our shoulders. We got our "scandalous" double ear piercings together. At any given family gathering, we were sequestered away, gossiping and telling stories. We got to experience the awesomeness that is NYC - twice! This past weekend, Cassie got married. She was completely gorgeous and glowing with happiness. Her wedding was absolutely stunning and totally unique. And, trust me, I cried a lot and simply couldn't believe my baby cousin was getting married. Anyway, congratulations, Cass - you and Jonathan are so sweet together! Love you and wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Yell... I love you so much! Where did you dig up these pictures! Even if our love is a little polygamist... just love having you around ever second I can! Thanks so much for spending the day with me and making the amazing cake. Most of all- thanks for always being my best friend. Love you!

What a tear jerker. I remember Cassie coming over to our boat every morning we were at Lake Powell together just to see you. You both are beautiful! So glad you both found terrific guys.

Wasn't she just the most stunning bride? And the looks on their faces was priceless. I don't think Cass or Jonathan stopped grinning all day. It was magical. And the cake was beautiful. Great job, as usual.
