MS Walk

The SLC MS Walk was last weekend, and as usual, we had a great time! My sweet aunt Carol was diagnosed with MS several years ago, and we have been participating ever since. Here's the entire group at the Gateway before the race...
My Mom, Dad, and cute Aunt Carol at the starting line...

My fabulous cousin Cassie and I workin' it. (For a whole 3 miles!)

And the best pic of the day - a fully geared-up Storm Trooper leading around a kid on a leash.

It's always fun to go on the walk, and makes me so appreciative of those who are supporting the fight to find a cure. I'm always inspired by my Grandma Barber who collect money throughout the year to donate, goes on the walk each year, and insists on crossing the finish line. What a wonderful example she is!

So proud to be a Barber Woman!

I don't know how to tell you this... but I am dating that Storm Trooper. The child is mine as well. Surprise! We treat our kids like dogs!

Amen to Cassie on the Barber Woman comment!

That Grandma of ours is a true jewel.

The Storm Trooper...thanks for the laugh (literally, and right out loud too) that is one of the funniest things I have ever seen!

Danielle - those are cute pictures, and great comments about my little sister, Carol. She is truly awesome, as well Grandma doing all she does to help find a cure.

PS - I simply don't see your baby looking like an alien!!!

Yup another great walk.

Carol and Mom are great fund raisers and so positive. Utah has the highest rate of MS in the nation. Hope for a cure.

What a great event to participate in!

I literally laughed out loud at the storm trooper and as Lance will attest - not many things make me laugh out loud like that.

If I haven't told already, ask me about our families leash controversy (controversy might be a bit of a strong word to use in this case), but interesting none the less.
