Once again, Cole and Jack's school has made it impossible for me to say "NO" to buying pictures. They turned out so cute, I just couldn't resist. Plus, I couldn't have all those other mothers judging me if I didn't buy them. I mean, really.

Merry Christmas
The Oddest Christmas Eve Yet
We had a crazy Christmas Eve this year. It started that morning when Bryce got called in to work. His company is almost finished with a project and he had to get some bugs taken care of that day. He was gone most of the day, which was tough as Jack had been running a fever. That afternoon, we woke Jack up from his nap, and he was burning up. A quick temperature check showed his at 104.5. Bryce bundled him up and took him to the Riverton Primary Children's.
Soon after he left, Pa and Nana arrived as we had planned to go to the Zoo Lights at Hogle Zoo. We weren't sure what to do, but we got a call from Bryce saying that Jack was doing okay and they were monitoring him. We decided to go ahead and check out the lights. We ended up having a great time, but missed Bryce and worried about Jack.

Once we got home, I got a call from Bryce saying that we had the all clear to take Jack home. No RSV - phew! They finally got home and we were able to decorate cookies for Santa. Cole really liked putting red hots on his.
It was definitely a crazy day, but what Christmas Eve wouldn't be?!

Winter Sing
Cole's school had their annual winter sing last week, and, as always, it was so fun to see the kids. Cole's group sang "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas," "Jingle Bells," and "Once There Was a Snowman." I was very proud that Cole knew all the actions and sang along. He even stole the show at the end and shouted "Merry Christmas!" to the group.
